Powder Coating

Powder coating involves electrostatically applying powdered paint to aluminum extrusions. The process begins with pre-treatment to remove dust, grease, and other contaminants, ensuring optimal adhesion. Using an electrostatic spray gun, the positively charged powder adheres to the electrically grounded extrusions. These coated extrusions are then cured in a large oven, resulting in a uniformly melted and smooth, hardened finish after natural cooling.

WoodFinstro

Menphis, a pioneer in this innovative field, partners with National Coaters, a renowned name in anodizing and powder coating, to introduce this cutting-edge technology to India. This collaboration aims to enhance public spaces with the natural warmth of wood, the elegance of Italian marble, and the gloss of granite. National Coaters’ advanced technology can create numerous effects, including realistic wood, marble, and granite finishes, along with a variety of custom designs. Using Menphis’ sublimation technology, any image can be replicated onto aluminum in both glossy and matte finishes, available in smooth or textured surfaces.

PVDF Coating

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) coatings are widely used in commercial and industrial applications for their exceptional durability. As a fluoropolymer resin, PVDF is highly inert and stable, offering excellent resistance to weathering, chalking, fading, and UV rays. These resin-based coatings are ideal for exterior projects requiring long-lasting protection and aesthetic appeal. Valspar’s 70% PVDF coatings deliver both superior appearance and outstanding protection, ensuring the substrate remains well-guarded against the elements.

Aluminium Anodising

Anodizing is a popular surface treatment for aluminum, primarily used to enhance and preserve its appearance, keeping it looking “as good as new.” This electrochemical process increases the natural oxide layer on aluminum, making it more resistant to corrosion, wear, and scratching. Anodized aluminum can also be dyed in various colors, offering both aesthetic and functional benefits for applications in architecture, automotive, electronics, and consumer goods.

Our Powder Coating Services

At Rohatk Aluminum Powder Coating, we offer a wide range of powder coating services to meet the diverse needs of our clients

Custom Powder Coating

Custom powder coating is a dry finishing process that applies a durable, pigmented coating to metal objects. It offers a wider range of customization compared to traditional painting, allowing for:

  • Unique Colors: Virtually any color imaginable, including custom color matching.
  • Diverse Textures: From smooth and glossy to textured finishes like wrinkle or vein.
  • Functional Properties: Coatings with specific properties like weather resistance, chemical resistance, or even glow-in-the-dark effects.

Protective Coatings

  • Anodizing: An electrochemical process that thickens the natural aluminum oxide layer, enhancing corrosion resistance and offering a decorative finish.
  • Powder Coating: A dry finishing technique using electrically charged powders that bond to the aluminum and are then cured with heat. It provides a durable, chip-resistant finish with various colors and textures available.
  • Painting: A traditional method offering a vast color palette and good weather resistance, but with lower scratch and wear resistance compared to other options.
  • Conversion Coatings: Chemical treatments that create a thin phosphate or chromate conversion layer on the aluminum surface, improving paint adhesion and offering some corrosion resistance.

Industrial Coatings

Industrial coatings are the workhorses of the manufacturing world. They form an invisible barrier on countless products, protecting them from corrosion, wear, chemicals, and other environmental threats. But their contributions extend far beyond simple protection; they can also enhance functionality, improve aesthetics, and even add unique properties.

Architectural Coatings

Aluminum’s lightweight strength, low maintenance, and recyclability make it a popular choice for building facades, cladding, windows, and other architectural elements. However, exposed aluminum is susceptible to corrosion, especially in harsh environments. This is where architectural aluminum coatings come in, providing a vital layer of protection while enhancing aesthetics and functionality.

Restoration Services

Restoration services encompass a wide range of specialties dedicated to repairing, rejuvenating, and preserving various structures, objects, and surfaces. They play a crucial role in:

  • Preserving history and cultural heritage: Restoring historical buildings, monuments, and artifacts ensures their legacy lives on for future generations.
  • Enhancing property value: Proper restoration can significantly increase the value of a property by restoring its original beauty and functionality.
  • Promoting sustainability: Restoration extends the lifespan of existing structures and objects, reducing the need for demolition and new construction, which can be resource-intensive.
